Susan Prosser’s downsizing journey took her from a two-storey home in Stirling to a three-bedroom unit in Osborne Park before she found her dream space at Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort.
Recently settling into a one-bedroom, one-bathroom Tiny Dancer home, Susan describes the Resort as ideal for her.
“I love the amenities; it’s just my cup of tea,” she explains.
“It’s just perfect for me to be here and to be in this environment where I’ve got friends and everything I need in terms of entertainment and things to do.”
After selling out of Osborne Park, Susan spent a year looking for a home to buy or rent.
“I looked at other lifestyle villages too, but I didn’t like the exit fees,” reveals Susan.
“And it’s just great that Piara Waters Resort is brand new and of such a high quality.
The home I got is absolutely perfect, all my furniture fitted in well and I love the particular location I’ve got in the Resort, too.
I take the dog for a walk couple of times a day to the Dog Park, there’s a Dog Wash, there’s everything you could ever need, a Vegetable Garden, chooks and the shops are very close so I can walk there.”
Susan says life at the Resort makes it much simpler to be social.
“It takes time to find your people but there are so many opportunities to work out who you gel with,” she shares.
And I’ve been blown away by the integrity of the people who had the vision to develop and establish this Resort, and by those running it.
It makes it possible for downsizers and Over 50s to move into something new and of quality.”
