The West Australian ‘The first Lifestyle Resort located in the Metropolitan area in over 10 years’

Property professional Janine Thomas has been selling off the plan for over 20 years and has now set her sights and skills on an exciting new Lifestyle Resort that has been seven years in the making.

Conveniently situated on a 10-hectare site in Piara Waters, this Lifestyle Resort is the first land lease community to be approved in the metropolitan area for over a decade.

Janine says, “Rarely will you find a better location in an urban residential growth corridor, 25 minutes from the city, and so close to all major conveniences and services.”

Janine took the opportunity to join the project in its early stages of development after working with John Wood, one of Australia’s most experienced developers and operators of lifestyle communities and founder of National Lifestyle Villages (NLV).

Having John Wood behind this project provides a wealth of knowledge and experience, says Janine and his innovative approach will create a fantastic lifestyle solution for early retirees and empty nesters.

This is a Lifestyle Resort not a Retirement Village, which Janine says “there is a big difference between the two”. A Lifestyle Resort appeals to a younger cohort and has more of a holiday atmosphere.

Living here will suit those who are wanting to downsize and continue living an active lifestyle. Some may still be working whilst others may be cutting back. It’s an ideal lock-n-leave for those who like to hitch up the caravan and take off on a road trip says Janine.

One big draw card is that there are no exit fees. This is a ‘game-changer’ says Janine that gives flexibility and peace of mind to the homeowner. They own the home and therefore retain their equity and capital growth.

“This development is planned to be ‘best in class’ with some truly valuable inclusions” There is an excellent level of fit out in the homes as well as beautiful facilities which people will love.

Our Hamptons inspired Clubhouse and Lake House will be stunning! Janine feels this style is timeless, relaxed and very popular, so we want to reflect this in our décor and layout. Think white shutters, wide verandas, timber, stone and a colour palette of soft whites, greys and blues.

We will have beautiful fireplaces, multiple BBQ areas, a café, bar and serene areas just to relax with family and friends.

There are over 25 facilities to enjoy and even things like a music room, creative studio, pickle ball courts and a day spa. All these things encourage people to be more active not less active!

Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort will be the first Lifestyle Resort in WA where all homes for each stage are being pre-designed by their award-winning architect, and sold off the plan, making the 247 home community truly master-planned with beautiful streetscape appeal.

The Resort will also be the first in WA to be solar powered with its own microgrid and individual battery storage. Meaning, buyers won’t have to worry about electricity bills and have the added benefit of our team supplying and maintaining the solar panels free of charge!

Added to the new innovative concepts will be the use of shared electric cars and bikes. “I love that people can choose to downsize to 1 car or even no car if they wish! A win for the environment and for the hip-pocket”.

Janine is selling Stage one’s first 31 home and landscaping packages, with most scheduled to be ready for move-in before Christmas.
