As the first lifestyle resort in WA to be completely masterplanned, with a host of premium innovations, Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort is raising the bar on downsizing.

In a new approach to this type of community, all 247 homes at Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort have been pre-designed by award-winning Perth architect and community living specialist Richard Hammond, and are being constructed in groups of 30.

This means each stage of residences is designed before being sold off the plan – a shift from the usual circumstance where buyers can choose what house they put on their land.

“This allows us to ensure each home is perfect for the lot it’s on, and created with the neighbouring houses in mind, dramatically improving the visual appeal of the Resort’s streetscapes and maintaining maximum privacy,” says sales manager Janine Thomas.

“When you buy your home, you know exactly what the street and nearby houses will look like, even if they’re not yet sold, which provides peace of mind.”

The masterplanning also means cross flow ventilation and good solar orientation has been considered for each 1, 2 or 3 bedroom home.

Based on the most popular lifestyle resort house designs and factoring in the most regularly sought after design improvements, 15 home designs have been created which populate the Resort.

A number of homes in each design are available, with slight modifications, in different locations around the Resort.

“After building or supplying more than 3,000 homes in WA communities over 25 years, our team have the benefit of being able to hone in on what works best and then take it to the next level,” says Janine.

“If you prefer the kitchen overlooking the street, there’s an option for that, but if you want your kitchen to the back of the home overlooking a private outdoor entertaining area, there’s that choice too.”

“Our intention was always to set a new standard in resort-style community living in WA and it feels great that it is being so well received by our market,” Janine states.

“We’re particularly proud to be delivering a beautiful, peaceful space that’s designed for a healthy and active lifestyle, encouraging connection and friendship, rather than isolation and loneliness.
