An update from our Project Manager – Mike Enslin

Significant progress has been made since my last communication, excitingly culminating with the arrival of our first homes on site!

Civil works are almost complete on Stage 1, with kerbs now being completed. Road base is also being laid and asphalt should be in place just prior to Easter. The landscaper is now in full swing, working predominantly on the entry and sound wall while also assisting with the widening of Warton Road to facilitate the construction of the slip road, as stipulated by the Council.

The all-important communication hut has been completed, and commissioning will commence in the coming weeks which will ensure all the residences are connected to the latest communication technology. The Lake has been formed, and construction has also commenced on the Lakehouse with the support columns now in place.

However, the real headline was the arrival of our first homes in early April. We were all excited to see the homes arrive from Fleetwood’s yard and get craned into position. The teams from Fleetwood and Providence are currently commissioning the homes, which includes the ancillary construction and landscaping works.

With homes now consistently arriving over the next few months, we will start to see the Resort take shape and transform from construction site to something truly spectacular, and I look forward to bringing you further updates.

An update from our Sales Manager – Janine Thomas

Friday 1st April was an exciting day for the Project with the first 2 houses arriving on site!

From here on in there will be 2-3 houses arriving per week… so this means you will see huge progress to the Resort.

We hope to have a couple display homes ready early May. In the meantime, we are still selling via our Sales Office at 76 Southampton Drive, Piara Waters.
There are just 5 homes remaining in STAGE 1 so don’t delay and take advantage of a hot real estate market! It is so important to get top dollar when you are downsizing. Timing is everything!

Introducing our wonderful Resort Managers

We are very pleased to welcome Brett and Shellie Gaskin as our Resort Managers!

Brett and his delightful wife Shellie will be living onsite for the first couple years to assist homeowners getting settled in, whilst the Resort becomes established.

They are a great package having worked side by side for the past 15 years – firstly in Margaret River and then for one of Australia’s largest over 50s Lifestyle Communities in Victoria.

Having helped so many homeowners on their journey of the often-daunting process of downsizing, they are here to help you experience your newfound freedom and fun.

They have returned to Perth from Victoria, where they were managing Lifestyle Communities for one of the best in Australia, to take up this exciting position and are enjoying the WA lifestyle once again – swimming and walking the beaches, cycling, relaxing in favourite coffee shops and relishing the amazing local produce in restaurants and cafes.

But most of all Brett and Shellie are thrilled to be back with their family and friends. They have been married for 40 years and have two adult kids – Emma and Elliott.

They have always lived a very healthy lifestyle – but believe in balance! For example, there’s nothing wrong with having a beer (or two) on the beach whilst admiring the sun setting over the Indian Ocean. It’s therapeutic!

Brett has a special interest and expertise in growing veggies and herbs as they owned an organic veggie growing business, selling seasonal produce through their large roadside farm shop. Ask him about soil and plant nutrition, growing conditions, crop rotation, natural pest control and he will have the answer for sure. Brett has also owned and operated a busy landscape gardening business and a nursery.

Shellie has been nicknamed a “pocket rocket” as she flies about the place at great pace! She has a keen interest in nutrition having both studied Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine along with running one of the busiest single practitioner clinics in Perth. She also helped develop the beautiful organic skincare products at Olio Bello Margaret River. Although she is not consulting any more, Shellie remains well connected with the health and wellness industry.

Brett and Shellie are friendly and approachable and look forward to welcoming you to the Resort.

Their advice to any potential homeowner considering PWLR is to “Free your future- there is nothing but pure possibilities! Embrace the next chapter with new eyes”
