In the quiet pre-dawn hours, Providence Homeowners and their families gathered to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. As tradition dictates, the ceremony was held at the flagpole in the Lake House precinct, with extra chairs and handcrafted poppies – knitted and crocheted by Homeowners – adding a personal touch to the solemn scene.
Following the moving service, the Social Club served up a classic gunfire breakfast –bacon, sausage, and egg rolls, accompanied by coffee and Anzac biscuits. The BBQs were sizzling, and the tables were full of friendly faces.
Homeowners lingered, enjoying heartfelt conversations and the peaceful beauty of the Resort, making it a truly meaningful morning of remembrance and connection.
