Hello Cecilia, Goodbye mortgage!

As our population ages, the chance of living solo becomes increasingly more likely. Singles, divorcees or widows/ers make up 50% of the Homeowners at our Resorts so the 1 bedders have been a great solution. Many singles may have been recently divorced so once assets are split up, they may only have a small nest egg. Whilst others are wanting to quit their job and payout the mortgage.

At Providence, we believe that affordable options should not equate to a lower level of style and fit out. So, we have added to our boutique collection of 1 bedders with a cutie tootie named Cecilia.

Many people have not considered a 1 bedder before, says Janine (Creative Manager). There is often a preconceived idea that it would be too small however once they walk through them there is often a complete change of heart.

“The common response I hear when people see it is ‘what more do you need?’. It’s about easy-care living, with the chance to simplify your life and freeing up your spare time. This home could be cleaned in 10 minutes!”, says Janine.

This home has a great feel to it with a beautiful kitchen, tuck away laundry and luxurious bathroom. Cecilia has a 5 Star energy rating, meaning it’s wonderfully soundproof and a breeze to cool and heat whilst keeping costs low, thanks to solar panels and battery storage.

The soaring ceiling adds to the spaciousness of this home and a timber decked alfresco makes the ideal spot for summer entertaining. We’ve used a product called New Tech for the decking, which requires zero maintenance but always looks like new.

There are four different floor plans of the 1 bed designs – some with additional space for those with a slightly higher budget.

Cecilia is our most compact of the 1 bedders with the next size up being Tiny Dancer, then Tickled Pink which has a separate dining/multipurpose room and Daydream which has a handy study nook. Some of these homes are ready to move in now whilst others you can plan ahead and move into later in 2024.
