After more than 15 years of thinking about embracing Lifestyle living and a COVID-related delay, Frank and Margaret Fontana have shifted into their new abode at Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort – and say the wait was worth it!
The couple chose a 3×2 bedroom design called ‘Feeling Groovy’ after meeting the Providence Lifestyle Resorts team in 2021 and are indeed feeling fantastic after downsizing from a two storey home.
“We sold all our furniture, which was too big, and bought all new furniture to make the moving process simpler,” Frank explains.
“We were the fourth couple to commit and now live on Bohemian Rhapsody Quays. How cool’s that?”
The pair is thrilled to have finally found a place like it close to friends and work.
“We like the security, the community and the social aspect of being around like-minded people our age,” Margaret says.
“We‘re also keen caravanners, so the lock and leave aspect really appeals to us.”
What are they most enthusiastic about?
“Spending time in the workshop,” says Frank.
“And I’m a Dockers supporter and have already met some passionate West Coast supporters – so I’m sure there’ll be some fun Derbies in the games room!
“The wellness facilities – including the gym, spa and heated indoor pool – will get plenty of use, not to mention the pickleball court and lawn bowls.”
