When Gabby Quist began looking for a lifestyle change, she said she never imagined she’d find an option as perfect for her as Providence Piara Waters.

“I used to have a gorgeous home in Waikiki but it had a pool and extensive garden and it was getting too hard and expensive to maintain,” says the 62-year-old.

“My daughter’s boss was talking to her about his mum living in a lifestyle community and it gave me the idea.”

She jumped online and discovered Providence, which is a very short drive from family, including some of her grandkids.

“It’s just perfect for me!” says Gabby.

“The main Clubhouse features an art, hobby and craft studio – and art is one of my big loves – and I can bring my beloved cat.

“It’s going to be like living in a 5 star resort, everything is that bit more high-end.”

With many friends heading off caravanning with their husbands, Gabby says the social aspect of living at Providence was a huge drawcard, as were the homes themselves.

“I loved the colour scheme and the layout and the exterior,” she says of her two bedroom one bathroom residence.

“It’s also quite near the Clubhouse so I can do my pool walking in the indoor heated pool.

“It’s a massive bonus I won’t have to drive to do that!”
