From Rusty, the self-proclaimed ‘guard of the Resort’, to Jacque the cute mischief-making 11-year-old ragdoll cat and Hugo the soccer ball-obsessed 20-month-old French Bulldog, Piara Waters is awash with gorgeous furry friends.
We’re deliberately pet friendly at Providence because we understand how much joy animals bring to our lives, and we’ve carefully catered for these important family members.
“All of our homes feature private, low-maintenance yards, so pets can have easy access to the garden,” explains Resort manager Brett Gaskin.
“There will also be a dedicated dog park built near the Clubhouse in due course to give our homeowners a local space to take their dogs offlead for a run and play.”
“We’ve found that one of the lovely aspects of the Resort is that if you love pets but can’t have
one of your own for some reason, you can very easily enjoy others’ animals and benefit from the crucial mental and physical wellbeing they provide.”
Other much-loved members of the Resort’s Fun for Furry Pets group are 12-year-old Papillon Louis Vuitton, brothers Monty and Barney, proud pooch Missy, trick-performing, people-watcher Cherrie, Zuri the 4-year-old American Staffy, Reilly the sweet Irish Setter, and soft toy-loving Max and his 13-year-old best friend, Jessi.
The love of pets in the Resort has worked its way up to John, the Resort’s Director, who immediately asked the architects to modify the Resort’s host of facilities to incorporate a convenient, selfserve dog wash machine similar to those used on a weekend in pet centres – if you don’t mind waiting in line!
