“Location, location, location! Providence Piara Waters has that in spades!” says Trevor Watkinson.
“It’s ideal for us; we’re close to our sons, hospitals, major shopping centres, public transport is a short stroll away, and there’s a pub within walking distance.
“We pinch ourselves every morning; we’re so happy here.”
Trevor and wife, Liz, did a lap of Australia in a caravan in 2019.
They were on a quest to pinpoint the perfect lifestyle resort to call ‘home’ and visited 39 of them on the trip.
“After that fact finding mission, we bought a home that was due to settle in December 2022 and sold our existing home,” says Liz.
“But our move in date, impacted by a lack of tradespeople and building material shortages, quickly blew out to July 2023, leaving us homeless.”
“Distraught, we checked out Providence – which is just 50 minutes from our original residence – and the rest is history!”
The couple says the compassion and assistance received from the Piara Waters team was overwhelming.
“We loved the place and when they promised our new home would be ready a month later, we signed up, went on a 28-day cruise, and moved in two days after we got back,” explains Trevor.
“We truly feel blessed to be here!”
