“I am on my own and this home made me mortgage free, and I couldn’t be happier,” enthuses Jan Keelan. At 67 and still working fulltime, Jan recently downsized from a larger home in the area. She opted for a stunning one bed, one bath Cecilia home design at Piara Waters.
“I’ve had to have a big throw out to downsize and it’s a smaller home, but it’s got everything you could want,” she explains.
“You’ve already got your fridge, microwave, dishwasher and air-conditioning in two rooms; it’s so easy, you just bring your furniture. It’s magnificent, perfect, just absolutely totally suitable for me.”
Jan is just minutes from her main workplace and was thrilled to be able to bring her two gorgeous ragdoll cats, Callie and Fin, into the Providence community with her.
“It’s so quiet, there’s no stress, it’s a no pressure lifestyle,” she shares. “I love it, just love it, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Her friends are so impressed that one is soon to join Jan at the Resort and another is tossing up between buying a home at Piara Waters or Providence Henley Brook.
“How could you ever complain; it’s going to be fantastic when all the facilities are complete,” she says. “The people here are lovely, they try and do everything they can to keep you happy and, to me, this is the best initiative anyone could have ever thought of. I am so thankful to John Wood for his initiative to create this for our age group, to know we’re safe and to be with likeminded people.”
