We’re so happy here…we can’t believe it ourselves, to be quite honest,” divulges Kaye Buckley.
“For us, this was the best move. We both love it.”
Kaye and husband, Bob, haven’t looked back since shifting their lives from their home in Canning Vale – the suburb they’d been settled in for more than 30 years – to Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort.
“I think the Clubhouse is the standout,” says Bob.
“And the facilities that are within the Clubhouse, like your outdoor pool, indoor pool, spa, sauna, gymnasium, little cinema, and music room.”
The couple, who initially saw the Resort advertised on TV, knew it would become their home from the moment they first toured the private gated community.
“We were very, very impressed with what we were seeing,” recalls Bob.
“And straight away we basically decided that this is where we were going to be.”
Says Kaye: “We’ve embraced this lifestyle really well. We’ve met many, many people who love it here as well.”
The duo has already formed many great friendships with like-minded Homeowners.
“I love playing bowls,” reveals Kaye.
“I belong to the bowls team here, and we play every Wednesday.
“You can enjoy the bowls and then afterwards you can have a drink and sit around and have a chat and a laugh.”
Adds Bob, “Being very, very positive about where you are and where you’re living, I think that’s a very important thing.”
And, in fact, moving has been so good for the Buckleys, they don’t want others to miss out.
“The message I’d have to people around our own ages that want to come into this type of community is: ‘Don’t hesitate. Don’t even wait a couple of years… do it now because there’s no time like the present’,” says Kaye.
“It’s such a good lifestyle.”
