Having moved into one of our Feeling Groovy home designs along That’s Amore Mews in the middle of this year, Tony and Margaret Harben are well and truly settled into their beloved “forever home.”
“Margaret and I couldn’t be more happy,” states Tony.
“Piara Waters has everything and more that we were looking for. “We love the security and peace of mind that comes with living here, as well as the welcoming community and our beautiful, reasonably priced three-bedroom, two bathroom home, which really is our castle.
“The finish is as close to perfect as you can get and we particularly enjoy sitting in our alfresco area and watching the sunset with a glass of wine.”
The couple, who previously lived in Canning Vale for more than 20 years, shifted into the Resort from their North Coogee apartment. They were searching for an affordable, more peaceful – but still social – space and the retirement village options they looked at didn’t fit the bill.
“We like that you get to own your home at Piara Waters Resort and the fees are very reasonable and they’re all very beneficial,” says the couple.
“The facilities are wonderful and we go up to the Lake House on a Friday evening with about 20 to 25 other residents. “They call it a sundowner but sometimes it might go until sun up!
“People bring nibbles and have a great laugh as we all tell our stories and get to know each other.”
Tony and Margaret describe moving into the Resort as the best decision they’ve made.
“We’re excited for the Clubhouse to open too, as we’re keen to get down there and get amongst it,” they share.
“We’re looking forward to a long, happy and prosperous life here!”
