Constructed as a haven for homeowners to put idle hands to good use while hanging out with friends, the $600,000 hobby centre and workshop at Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort is tipped to be a hive of activity seven days a week.

A highlight of Stage 3, no expense has been spared with the leisure space, which is nestled amongst the trailer, caravan and boat storage area of the Resort.

The workshop will boast an impressive list of inclusions – metalwork and woodwork bays, mechanics car bay, a microbrewery, indoor golf simulator, a (hopefully well-stocked!) fridge, and a central BBQ with the obligatory dart board and hangout space.

A high-pressure wash down area is also close by to make washing the car, boat or caravan simpler.

“Complete with all the must-haves, the workshop is proving to be a big drawcard for many homeowners looking at moving into Providence Lifestyle,” says Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort sales manager Janine Thomas.

“The workshop will be a great place to tinker on things that need fixing, build something new or pick up skills from your neighbours.”

The workshop will be equipped with tools donated by homeowners.

“We have a number of retired tradespeople who’ve already shifted into the Resort and we’re sure many more will join us, so we’re very excited about the bustling space the workshop will become,” states Janine.

“It’s also been created as a spot to simply relax and have a chat and a cold drink, of course!”
